NeuroVisio SyncPatch: A Skin‐Conformal Multimodal EMG–Motion Sensing Platform for Quantitative Neuromuscular Rehabilitation and Performance Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
NeuroVisio SyncPatch integrates skin‐conformal electromyography (EMG) electrodes with camera‐tracked markers to jointly assess muscle activity and three‐dimensional knee kinematics during rehabilitation. Parallel feedback pathways provide real‐time kinematic guidance during movement and post‐trial neuromuscular feedback.

New Karhunen-Loève expansions based on Hahn polynomials with application to a Sobolev test for uniformity on Johnson graphs

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
We give a new family of Karhunen-Loève expansions involving Hahn polynomials. This enables us to introduce discrete analogues of Watson statistics, and a test for uniformity on Johnson’s graphs. We use the fact that the zonal spherical functions on these

Human iPSC‐Derived Tissue‐Engineered Nigrostriatal Pathway for Chronic Restoration of Dopaminergic Axon Tracts in a Rat Parkinson's Model

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Inspired by conventional cell therapy and emerging bioengineering approaches, the tissue‐engineered nigrostriatal pathway (TE‐NSP) has an anatomically‐inspired design comprising a population of human dopaminergic neurons with unidirectional, long‐projecting axon tracts.

Discrete Stein-Weiss inequalities

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations
This article concerns the discrete Stein-Weiss inequalities with finite  terms and with infinite terms. Such inequalities can be used to study the  discrete Coulomb energy, nonlinear problems appearing the crystal  lattice theory and graphs in neural ...

Median computation in graphs using consensus strategies [PDF]

open access: yes
Following the Majority Strategy in graphs, other consensus strategies, namely Plurality Strategy, Hill Climbing and Steepest Ascent Hill Climbing strategies on graphs are discussed as methods for the computation of median sets of profiles.

Atom‐Efficient Cerium‐Based Molecular Cages as Biocompatible Reactive Oxygen Scavengers

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Discrete mixed‐valent cerium molecular cages organize accessible redox centers within confined coordination environments and scavenge superoxide, hydrogen peroxide, and hydroxyl radicals. Encapsulation of the lead cage in an ROS‐responsive DTP nanoplatform enables lesion‐associated delivery, attenuates macrophage oxidative stress and inflammation, and ...

On m-Negative Sets and Out Mondirected Topologies in the Human Nervous System

open access: yesMathematics
Using the monophonic paths in the theory of directed graphs, this paper constructs a new topology called the out mondirected topology, which characterizes the graphs that induce indiscrete or discrete topology. We give and study some of the relations and

The number of excellent discrete Morse functions on graphs

open access: yes, 2009
In [5] the number of non-homologically equivalent excellent discrete Morse functions defined on S1 was obtained in the differentiable setting. We carried out the analogous study in the discrete setting for some kind of graphs, including S1, in [2].

Modeling Early Metastatic Progression in Breast Cancer Using a Barrier‐Free, Perfusable Spheroid‐on‐a‐Chip Platform

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Open‐port, barrier‐free microfluidic device for modeling early metastatic progression. A centrally positioned tumor spheroid releases invasive cells that migrate through the surrounding matrix and intravasate into endothelialized lateral channels.
