Glissile Interphase Boundaries Enable Collective Phase Switching in Epitaxial Polar Oxides
A triple point is identified in the phase diagram of low‐symmetry epitaxial BiFeO3 thin film along with an extended regime of phase competition associated with a flattened energy landscape. The electromechanical response is shown to be governed by correlated interphase‐boundary motion, including scale‐free avalanche dynamics characteristic of systems ...

Improvement of Signature Scheme Based on Factoring and Discrete Logarithms
[[abstract]]Laih and Kuo proposed two efficient signature schemes based on discrete logarithms and factorization. However, their schemes require many keys for a signing document. In this article, we shall propose an improvement of Laih and Kuos signature

Computing discrete logarithms in cryptographically-interesting characteristic-three finite fields [PDF]
Since 2013 there have been several developments in algorithms for computing discrete logarithms in small-characteristic finite fields, culminating in a quasi-polynomial algorithm.

Polylog Depth Circuits for Integer Factoring and Discrete Logarithms
In this paper, we develop parallel algorithms for integer factoring and for computing discrete logarithms. In particular, we give polylog depth probabilistic boolean circuits of subexponential size for both of these problems, thereby solving an open ...

Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...

Co‐delivery of electrosprayed EDOT and oxidant enables bulk oxidative polymerization during layer‐by‐layer fabrication, creating stable, highly conductive 3D PEDOT structures. This Atomized Oxidative Polymerization (AOP) overcomes the surface deposition‐only and matrix‐limited conductivity of conventional Vapor Phase Polymerization (VPP) and PEDOT:PSS ...

The Number Field Sieve for Discrete Logarithms [PDF]
We present two general number field sieve algorithms solving the discrete logarithm problem in finite fields. The first algorithm presented deals with discrete logarithms in prime fields, while the second considers prime power fields. We prove, using the

A New Class of Strongly Asymmetric PKA Algorithms: SAA-5
A new class of public key agreement (PKA) algorithms called strongly-asymmetric algorithms (SAA) was introduced in a previous paper by some of the present authors.

Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.
