Speckle‐Engineered Upconversion Amplification in Nanoemulsion‐Templated Hydrogel Microdomes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nanoemulsion‐confined PEGDA microdomes generate speckle‐like excitation fields that strongly amplify upconversion luminescence upon dehydration, enabling filter‐free visible readout with reversible on–off switching. DMD‐based lithography yields scalable, shape‐programmable arrays for moisture‐responsive displays and optical encryption.

Preview repetitive control for polytopic nonlinear discrete-time systems

open access: yesScience Progress, 2022
In this study, a preview repetitive control (PRC) strategy was developed for uncertain nonlinear discrete-time systems subjected to a previewable periodic reference signal.

Convergence Properties for Discrete-Time Nonlinear Systems [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2019
Three similar convergence notions are considered. Two of them are the long established notions of convergent dynamics and incremental stability. The other is the more recent notion of contraction analysis. All three convergence notions require that all solutions of a system converge to each other.

Discrete Breathers in Two-Dimensional Anisotropic Nonlinear Schrodinger lattices

open access: yes, 2006
We study the structure and stability of discrete breathers (both pinned and mobile) in two-dimensional nonlinear anisotropic Schrodinger lattices. Starting from a set of identical one-dimensional systems we develop the continuation of the localized ...

Multi‐Scale Interface Engineering of MXenes for Multifunctional Sensory Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MXenes, as two‐dimensional transition metal carbides and nitrides, demonstrate remarkable capabilities for multifunctional sensing applications. This review systematically examines multi‐scale interface engineering approaches that enhance sensing performance, enable diverse detection functionalities, and improve system‐level compatibility in MXene ...

Controllability of nonlinear discrete systems [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2002 American Control Conference (IEEE Cat. No.CH37301), 2002
1-D and 2-D discrete-time nonlinear stationary dynamic systems are considered. Local controllability conditions for unconstrained controls that have been previously derived are extended to the constrained controls case.

Dual‐Programmable Architected Magnetic Soft Materials: Tuning Mechano–Electric Responses by Inverse Design

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Materials that can deform, sense, and autonomously generate power in response to wireless magnetic fields, through both magnetic‐actuated shape transformation and charge generation, are an emerging focus in advanced functional materials research.

Housekeeping and excess entropy production for general nonlinear dynamics

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2023
We propose a housekeeping/excess decomposition of entropy production for general nonlinear dynamics in a discrete space, including chemical reaction networks and discrete stochastic systems.

Chaotic Behaviour in Some Discrete –Time Adaptive Control Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
It has been shown that nonlinear discrete maps can display extremely rich behaviour and under certain parameter conditions to show chaotic phenomenon.
