A Universal Discrete Space Vector Modulation Based Model Predictive Control for PMSM Drives
2019 22nd International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS), 2019This paper proposed a universal discrete space vector modulation (DSVM) based model predictive current control (MPCC). By dividing the sampling period into N equal parts, DSVM technique creates more candidate virtual vectors, which reduces the torque ripple while increases the computational load. The proposed DSVM method uses a function related to N to

In this paper, a novel constant switching frequency technique based on discrete space vector modulation is proposed for predictive torque controlled induction motors. As known, the discrete space vector modulation (DSVM) technique considers virtual voltage vectors, which are a sequence of real voltage vectors, and applies them to the power converter in

The existing model predictive control (MPC) method effectively suppresses common mode voltage (CMV) of the reduced switch counts three-level converter (RSC-TLC), but it cannot properly deal with the problem of neutral point (NP) voltage balance, fixed switching frequency (FSF) and low current ripples simultaneously. To overcome these obstacles, in this

The basic concept of direct torque control of induction machines is investigated in order to emphasize the effects produced by a given voltage vector on stator flux and torque variations. The low number of voltage vectors which can be applied to the machine using the basic DTC scheme may cause undesired torque and current ripple.

An Efficient FCS-MPC based on Discrete Space Vector Modulation for PMSMs
2021 IEEE International Conference on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE), 2021This paper proposes a finite control set model predictive control method which is suitable for permanent magnet synchronous motor. The discrete space vector modulation is introduced. Its products are the virtual voltage vectors. They are not real and are
