Impulsive Networked Control for Discrete-time Delayed Systems

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2012
Abstract This paper investigates the impulsive networked control issue for discrete-time delayed systems (DDSs). An impulsive networked control scheme is proposed for DDSs. Under the impulsive control, the DDS is changed to a discrete-time impulsive hybrid system.

Stabilization of discrete singularly perturbed systems with time-delay

2017 14th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD), 2017
This paper treats the stabilization bound problem for discrete singularly perturbed systems with time delay. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, a state feedback stabilization control design is proposed. A new sufficient condition given as a set of Linear Matrix Inequalities(LMIs), guarantees the existence of state feedback controller and the ...

New results on discrete-time delay systems identification

International Journal of Automation and Computing, 2012
A new approach for simultaneous online identification of unknown time delay and dynamic parameters of discrete-time delay systems is proposed in this paper. The proposed algorithm involves constructing a new generalized regression vector and defining the time delay and the rational dynamic parameters in the same vector.

Subspace-based identification of discrete time-delay system

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering, 2016
We investigate the identification problems of a class of linear stochastic time-delay systems with unknown delayed states in this study. A time-delay system is expressed as a delay differential equation with a single delay in the state vector. We first derive an equivalent linear time-invariant (LTI) system for the time-delay system using a state ...

Exponential stability criteria for discrete time‐delay systems

International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2013
SummaryIn this paper, we study the exponential stability of linear discrete time‐delay systems with slowly varying coefficients and nonlinear perturbations. We establish the robustness of the exponential stability in Hilbert spaces, in the sense that the exponential stability for a given linear equation persists under sufficiently small perturbations ...

DISCRETIZATION OF CONTINUOUS TIME-DELAY SYSTEMS

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2002
Abstract Many works are related to the analysis and control of either continuous or else discrete time-delay systems. However, the discretization of continuous time-delay systems has not been extensively studied. In this work, sampled-data time-delay systems with internal and external point delays are described by approximate discrete time-delay ...

On stabilization of discrete time nonlinear systems with time delay

Proceedings of the 40th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (Cat. No.01CH37228), 2002
In this paper, the problem of the stabilization of a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems with time delay is addressed. We investigate the Lyapunov approach to deduce general conditions for stabilizing the closed-loop system and derive stabilizing state feedback control laws.

Optimization of Linear Discrete-Time Systems with Random Time Delays

IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 1972
Linear discrete-time systems containing state and control variables which are randomly delayed are studied. The original system with randomly delayed variables is transformed to another system in which independent random variables appear as plant parameters. For the reformulated system the optimal control which minimizes a quadratic cost is determined.
