Wavelet-Based Algorithm for Signal Analysis
This paper presents a computational algorithm for identifying power frequency variations and integer harmonics by using wavelet-based transform. The continuous wavelet transform (CWT) using the complex Morlet wavelet (CMW) is adopted to detect the ...

Continuous and Discrete Wavelet Transforms Associated with Hermite Transform
In this paper, we accomplished the concept of continuous and discrete Hermite wavelet transforms. We also discussed some basic properties of Hermite wavelet transform.

Continuous and Discrete Wavelet Transforms [PDF]
This paper is an expository survey of results on integral representations and discrete sum expansions of functions in $L^2 ({\bf R})$ in terms of coherent states. Two types of coherent states are considered: Weyl–Heisenberg coherent states, which arise from translations and modulations of a single function, and affine coherent states, called ’wavelets,’

Induction motors consumes 90% of total power consumed by industries due to large scale utilisation. Even though these motors are rugged in structure, they often face unexpected failure due to long usage without maintenance.

Continuous and discrete Bessel wavelet transforms
The authors speak about the continuous and discrete wavelet transforms associated with the Bessel operator, which are defined and studied in the book of \textit{K. Trimèche} [``Generalized harmonic analysis and wavelet packets'' (2001; Zbl 0976.44009)]. The results presented in this paper are given in this book.

Quadrature prefilters for the discrete wavelet transform [PDF]
Summary: Discrepancies between the discrete wavelet transform and the coefficients of the wavelet series are known to be reducible by initialization of input data. Prefilters based on Lagrange interpolants are derived here for biorthogonal compact support wavelet systems, providing exact subspace projection in cases of local polynomial smoothness.

An algebraic construction of discrete wavelet transforms [PDF]
Discrete wavelets are viewed as linear algebraic transforms given by banded orthogonal matrices, which can be built up from small matrix blocks with special properties. A generalization of the Daubechies finite support orthogonal wavelets is discussed and some special cases promising more rapid signal reduction are derived.
