Níveis séricos de vitamina D e periodontite crônica em pacientes com doença renal crônica Serum levels of vitamin D and chronic periodontitis in patients with chronic kidney disease
The Prostate, Volume 85, Issue 10, Page 977-985, July 2025.ABSTRACT Background
Standard treatment for unfavorable‐intermediate and high‐risk prostate cancer involves androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in combination with pelvic conventional fractionation (CF) external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) and a CF‐EBRT or brachytherapy boost to the prostate.Andre Gouveia, Aruz Mesci, Naghmeh Isfahanian, Ian Dayes, Kimmen Quan, Mira Goldberg, Kara Lynne Schnarr, Himu Lukka, David Cuthbert, Abhiram Hallock, Georgia Douvi, Jim Wright, Anand Swaminath, Tom Chow, Kevin Diamond, George Hajdok, Lindsay Maharaj, Joycelyne Ewusie, Theodoros Tsakiridis +18 morewiley +1 more sourceAcute complications during and after extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy

American Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, Volume 197, Issue 6, June 2025.ABSTRACT
Schinzel‐Giedion Syndrome (SGS) is an ultra‐rare, multisystem, genetic developmental disorder caused by gain‐of‐function pathogenic variants in the SETBP1 gene. No standard of care (SoC) recommendations currently exist. To assess expert opinion on SoC for individuals with SGS using a modified Delphi method.Jessica Duis, Laura Agresta, William E. The Prostate, Volume 85, Issue 8, Page 777-783, June 2025.ABSTRACT Background
PSMA PET/CT has previously shown superior performance in nodal staging of prostate cancer (PCa) and may be used to reduce the number of unnecessary PLND procedures. This study aims to assess the performance of PSMA PET/CT in nodal staging of intermediate‐risk prostate cancer and to evaluate the effect of PLND on oncological outcomes Baris Esen, Hulya Seymen, Ayşe Armutlu, Ersin Koseoglu, Ibrahim Can Aykanat, Hatice Zoroğlu, Abdullah Erdem Canda, Yakup Kordan, Mevlana Derya Balbay, Dilek Ertoy Baydar, Mehmet Onur Demirkol, Derya Tilki, Tarık Esen +12 morewiley +1 more sourcePropensity Score Matched Analysis of External Beam Radiotherapy With or Without Focal Boost to Intraprostatic Lesions in Prostate Cancer

Aging Cell, Volume 24, Issue 6, June 2025.This study utilized single‐cell RNA sequencing to analyze immune cells in 33 human testis samples (ages 21–69). We found age‐related alterations in monocytes and MRC1hi TRM, with shifts in phagocytosis, cytokine, and antigen presentation, contributing to low‐grade inflammation in aging. These findings provide insights into immune aging in human testis. Qiaoling Jiang, Lina Cui, Xichen Nie, Hui Cai, Wenxiu Zhang, Xiaojian Lu, Yifei Guo, James M. Hotaling, Bradley R.
