According to Horn’s (1984) Principle of Division of Pragmatic Labor, marked forms should have marked meanings. We investigate differences in the interpretation of two prosodically distinct forms of the disjunction sau in Romanian (‘A sau B’): (i ...

Liquid metal direct writing is advanced from a technological and fundamental point. Utilizing a kinematic bed, printing on large surfaces with irregularities is enabled. Furthermore, a pressure‐driven flow during printing is discovered that affects the thickness of traces.

Supervenience, Dependence, Disjunction
This paper explores variations on and connections between the topics mentioned in its title, using as something of an anchor the discussion in Valentin Goranko and Antti Kuusisto’s “Logics for propositional determinacy and independence”, a venture into what the authors call the logic of determinacy, which they contrast with (a demodalized version of ...

Tractable disjunctive constraints
Many combinatorial search problems can be expressed as 'constraint satisfaction problems', and this class of problems is known to be NP-complete in general. In this paper we investigate 'disjunctive constraints', that is, constraints which have the form of the disjunction of two constraints of specified types.

Advances in Safe, Flexible, and Stretchable Batteries for Wearable Applications
Unlike previous reviews centered on component‐based deformability, this work highlights safety‐driven design strategies for flexible and stretchable batteries. By integrating material‐level engineering, geometry‐controlled structures, biocompatibility, and self‐protection mechanisms, it establishes a unified framework that connects mechanical ...

Modeling the blood–brain tumor barrier is challenging due to complex interactions between brain microvasculature and glioma cells. We present two‐photon polymerized 3D micro‐porous capillary‐like structures that support endothelial alignment, cytoskeletal organization, and pericyte‐endothelial‐glioma tri‐cultures.
