Cyclic azapeptide CD36 ligand attenuates cardiac injury and reduces long‐chain fatty acid accumulation after myocardial ischemia–reperfusion in mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Removal of colour from solutions of azo dyes using bacterial cells (Shewanella strain J18 143) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Water pollution control is presently one of the major areas of scientific activity. While coloured organic compounds generally impart only a minor fraction of the organic load to wastewater, their colour renders them aesthetically unacceptable.

UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.

Unlocking the power of enzymes: Comparative molecular docking analysis of Escherichia coli enzymes for disperse dye degradation and toxicity mitigation

open access: yesDesalination and Water Treatment
Background: Disperse dyes are synthetic, non-biodegradable pollutants extensively used in textile manufacturing. They pose significant environmental and health risks due to their persistence and toxicity.

The Dyeing of Polypropylene Fibers with Disperse Dyes

open access: yesThe Journal of the Society of Chemical Industry, Japan, 1962

Diagnostic Use of Testing for Novel Murine Autoantibodies for Sjögren Disease in the Rheumatology Outpatient Setting

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective The goal was to assess the diagnostic performance of three novel autoantibodies (NA) for Sjögren disease (SjD) by comparing NA prevalence in patients with SjD, other autoimmune rheumatic diseases (ARDs), nonspecific chronic sialadenitis (CS), and controls.

A Facile Synthesis of New Monoazo Disperse Dyes Derived from 4-Hydroxyphenylazopyrazole-5-amines: Evaluation of Microwave Assisted Dyeing Behavior

open access: yesMolecules, 2012
A series of new monoazo disperse dyes containing pyrazolopyrimidine moieties was synthesized by coupling malononitrile or 3-aminocrotononitrile with 4-hydroxy- benzenediazonium chloride.

Solubility of disperse and Mordant dyes in supercritical CO(2)

open access: yes, 1999
WOS: 000078866700020Waterless dyeing is the new approach in textile dyeing in order to reduce or eliminate effluent waste, and supercritical carbon dioxide is an alternative solvent being considered. The research focus has therefore been on determination
