Retrieving S-wave velocity from surface wave multimode dispersion curves with DispINet

open access: yes, 2021
We present a data-driven dispersion curve inversion network (DispINet) that directly maps the multimode dispersion curves to the S-wave velocity model.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Dispersion curves in a thick orthotropic plate

open access: yes, 2003
A detailed expressions for the dispersion equations of an infinite orthotropic plate is considered.Dispersion curves are presented for the unidirectional composite. The results will be used to understand and to expand the use of acousto-ultrasonic ...

An automatic algorithm for surface wave dispersion curve picking based on Hessian matrix attributes

open access: yesScientific Reports
A new automatic method for dispersion curve picking based on Hessian matrix attributes is proposed, on which, an algorithm is developed in this paper. The algorithm is based on dispersion power spectra transformed from surface waves.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Study on the Dispersion Curves of Rayleigh Wave in Foundation of Obstacles

open access: yes, 2011
It is difficult to accurately identify dispersion curves of Rayleigh wave for the foundation with obstacles. Displacement curve of time-domain of half-space foundation have been obtained with the finite element in the paper.

Properties and numerical solutions of dispersion curves in general isotropic waveguides [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, some properties of dispersion curves in general isotropic piecewise homogeneous waveguides are rigorously derived. These properties are leveraged in a numerical implementation capable of determining the dispersion curves of such waveguides

Dual PI3K/AKT and CDK4/6 inhibition reveals selective sensitivity in an SHH medulloblastoma stem cell model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.
