Determination of surface-wave phase velocities by zeros of Aki’s spectrum of active-source records: Application to the dense array in Tongzhou, ChinaKey points

open access: yesEarthquake Science
The spatial autocorrelation (SPAC) (also known as the Aki’s spectral method) of ambient seismic noise has been widely adopted in surface wave phase velocity extraction.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Phonon dispersion curves of TiN

open access: yes, 2007
79-82A lattice dynamical model which includes the effect of three-body interactions (TBI) in the framework of second neighbour rigid shell model (SNTRSM) and second neighbour rigid ion model (SNTRIM) has been developed.

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Obtaining dispersion curves by a semi-analytical finite element method

open access: yes, 2011
O presente trabalho consiste na análise de um método denominado semi- analytical finite element (SAFE) (método semi-analítico de elementos finitos). Esse método foi utilizado para gerar curvas de dispersão e seu resultado foi confrontado com as curvas ...

Estimating surface-wave dispersion curves from 3D seismicacquisition schemes: Part 1 — 1D models

open access: yes, 2011
Surface-wave analysis is based on the estimation of surface-wave dispersion curves, which are then inverted to provide 1D S-wave velocity profiles. Surface-wave dispersion curves can be extracted from P-wave records obtained in seismic exploration and ...

The problems at investigation of state of stress of thick orthotropic plate [PDF]

open access: yesApplied and Computational Mechanics, 2007
The determination of state of stress of thick orthotropic plate is outlined here. The analytical formulations of dispersion curves for arbitrary direction of wave propagation in orthotropic plate, which we defined earlier, are used to obtain results. The

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...
