Binocular responses and vertical strabismus [PDF]
Background/Aim. Elevation in adduction is the most common pattern of vertical strabismus, and it is mostly treated with surgery. The results of weaking of inferior oblique muscle are very changeable. The aim of this study was to evaluate binocular vision

A pioneering magnetogenetic toolkit enables non‐invasive, precise spatiotemporal modulation of intracellular Wnt/β‐catenin signaling. Functionalized magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs@E/EC15) target cellular E‐cadherins to generate localized magnetomechanical forces under low‐intensity magnetic fields.

Dissociated Vertical Nystagmus and Internuclear Ophthalmoplegia From a Midbrain Infarction
We describe a patient with a dissociated vertical nystagmus and an internuclear ophthalmoplegia. The vertical nystagmus consisted of a left downward nystagmus with a synchronous right intorting nystagmus when the patient looked down and to the left. This

Configuration‐Encoded Cell Alignment by Light‐Gated Silicon Photovoltaic Microcell Arrays
Light‐gated silicon photovoltaic microcells convert pulsed illumination into localized electrical cues. Arranging otherwise similar microcells into four‐lobed, six‐lobed, or circular patterns directs fibroblasts into corresponding local arrangements without wired stimulation.

Emergence of a Hexagonal Fe2S2 Single Layer Without a Bulk Counterpart via Phase Transformation
Upon annealing, single‐layer Mackinawite iron sulfide transforms into a previously unknown hexagonal Fe2S2${\rm Fe}_2{\rm S}_2$ phase with β$\beta$‐CuI structure. STM, LEED, and first‐principles calculations identify the structure and show that electronic correlations and magnetic order are important for its stability.

Neuromorphic plasticity in OECTs is governed by the post‐stimulus evolution of coupled ionic and electronic states. Semiconductor chemistry and morphology, electrolyte composition and interfaces, and device architecture regulate ion injection, transport, confinement, and release, shifting responses from rapidly relaxing STP to metastable memory and ...

A Case of Congenital Retinal Macrovessel Crossing the Foveola
Congenital retinal macrovessel is generally the presence of unilateral aberrant vessel crossing over the horizontal raphe through the macula. Typically, visual acuity is unaffected, although in rare cases, macular hemorrhage, foveolar cysts, foveal ...

Dissociative Vertical Deviation (DVD) is a type of Strabismus. It may present as the only kinetic eye disturbance or accompany a congenital esotropia or an inferior oblique muscle overaction (IOOA).
