EFFECT OF USING MNO2 AS ADSORBANT ON THE IONIZATION CONSTANT AND ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY FOR SOME ALIPHATIC CARBOXYLIC ACID CONTAINING BY HYDROXYL GROUP ON Α- POSITION [PDF]

open access: yesمجلة جامعة الانبار للعلوم الصرفة, 2012
The effect of manganese dioxide as adsorbed substance on the electrical conductivity were studied. Also the ionization constant and degree of dissociation for cations and anions produced from ionization of glycolic , mandilic , benzilic acids. The data ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Analysis of the effect of core structure upon dineutron correlation using antisymmetrized molecular dynamics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We extend the method of antisymmetrized molecular dynamics to investigate dineutron correlation. We apply this method to $^{10}$Be as an example and investigate the motion of two neutrons around a largely deformed $^8$Be core by analyzing the two-neutron

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

First-Order Phase Transition with Breaking of Lattice Rotation Symmetry in Continuous-Spin Model on Triangular Lattice

open access: yes, 2011
Using a Monte Carlo method, we study the finite-temperature phase transition in the two-dimensional classical Heisenberg model on a triangular lattice with or without easy-plane anisotropy.

Quasinormal modes for heavy vector mesons in a finite density plasma

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
There are strong indications that ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions, produced in accelerators, lead to the formation of a new state of matter: the quark gluon plasma (QGP).
