EFFECT OF USING MNO2 AS ADSORBANT ON THE IONIZATION CONSTANT AND ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY FOR SOME ALIPHATIC CARBOXYLIC ACID CONTAINING BY HYDROXYL GROUP ON Α- POSITION [PDF]

open access: yesمجلة جامعة الانبار للعلوم الصرفة, 2012
The effect of manganese dioxide as adsorbed substance on the electrical conductivity were studied. Also the ionization constant and degree of dissociation for cations and anions produced from ionization of glycolic , mandilic , benzilic acids. The data ...

Electron beam induced fluorescence measurements of the degree of hydrogen dissociation in hydrogen plasmas

open access: yes, 2004
The degree of dissociation of hydrogen in a hydrogen plasma has been measured using electron beam induced fluorescence. A 20 kV, 1 mA electron beam excites both the ground state H atom and H2 molecule into atomic hydrogen in an excited state.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Quasinormal modes for heavy vector mesons in a finite density plasma

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
There are strong indications that ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions, produced in accelerators, lead to the formation of a new state of matter: the quark gluon plasma (QGP).

Effect of pressure on the hydrogen dissociation degree in a hot tube

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2020
Abstract The effect of pressure decrease on the degree of dissociation of hydrogen flowing inside a hot tube was studied. The experimental data were analysed using the previously developed thermal model of the reactor. The heat exchange of gas with the tube wall was estimated based on the direct Monte Carlo simulation.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Certification and shelf-life extension of a new batch of the branch reference standard for live tularemic vaccine's specific activity and immunogenicity

open access: yesБиопрепараты: Профилактика, диагностика, лечение, 2018
The article presents the results obtained in the study of a new batch of a candidate branch reference standard for live tularemic vaccine (vaccine BRS). The candidate vaccine BRS was represented by a commercial batch of a product that met all applicable ...

Spontaneous dissociation of Co2(CO)8 and autocatalytic growth of Co on SiO2: A combined experimental and theoretical investigation

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Nanotechnology, 2012
We present experimental results and theoretical simulations of the adsorption behavior of the metal–organic precursor Co2(CO)8 on SiO2 surfaces after application of two different pretreatment steps, namely by air plasma cleaning or a focused electron ...
