Hydrogen-Helium Mixtures in the Interiors of Giant Planets
Equilibrium properties of hydrogen-helium mixtures under conditions similar to the interior of giant gas planets are studied by means of first principle density functional molecular dynamics simulations.

The Thermal Evolution of the Postshock Layer in Pregalactic Clouds [PDF]
We re-examine the thermal evolution of the postshock layer in primordial gas clouds. Comparing the time scales, we find that the evolutionary paths of postshock regions in primordial gas clouds can be basically understood in terms of the diagram drawn in

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

Multi-factor sensitivity analysis on the stability of submarine hydrate-bearing slope
: There are many factors affecting the instability of the submarine hydrate-bearing slope (SHBS), and the interaction with hydrate is very complicated. In this paper, the mechanical mechanism of the static liquefaction and instability of submarine slope ...

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

ON MECHANISMS OF INCREASING HCL DISSOCIATION DEGREE IN GLOW DISCHARGE PLASMA
The influence of initial compositions of the binary HCl+Ar and HCl+O2 gas mixtures on the hydrogen chloride dissociation kinetics in low temperature gas discharge plasma was investigated. The experiments were carried out under the conditions of direct current glow discharge at constant total gas pressure (100 Pa) and discharge current (25 mA). The data
