Mitochondria contain two mitoribosome rescue factors, ICT1 and MTRFR (C12orf65). ICT1 also functions as a mitoribosomal protein in mice and humans, and its loss is lethal. Although Mtrfr knockout mice could not be generated, knockout zebrafish lines for ict1 and mtrfr were established.

The Drift and Dissolution of Language [PDF]
Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the drift and dissolution of language. Edward Sapir proclaimed that linguistics should concern itself with language in all its aspects: (1) language in operation, (2) language in drift, (3) language in the nascent state, and (4) language in dissolution.

The rhizosphere is an essential pathway for the uptake of metal-based nanoparticles (MNPs) by plant roots. However, the interaction between root exudates and MNPs is still unclear.

The inactivation of SLC35C1 (GDP‐fucose transporter) and enzymes involved in GDP‐fucose biosynthesis was studied. Fucose supplementation increases the level of GDP‐fucose to abnormal, millimolar values in the absence of the TSTA3 protein and SLC35C1 in contrast to the GMDS/SLC35C1 double mutant.

Sensitivity of dissolution rate to location in the paddle dissolution apparatus
Abstract The aim of the present study was to determine the apparent diffusion boundary layer and dissolution rate constant for various surfaces of compacts and at various locations in the USP paddle dissolution apparatus. Benzoic acid compacts were coated with paraffin wax leaving only the surface under investigation free for dissolution.

Increasing atmospheric CO2 is raising sea surface temperature (SST) and increasing seawater CO2 concentrations, resulting in a lower oceanic pH (ocean acidification; OA), which is expected to reduce the accretion of coral reef ecosystems.

d‐Allulose can be produced from d‐fructose by d‐allulose 3‐epimerase. Based on sequence homology information, we successfully engineered thermostable mutants with the protein engineering method. By integrating positive mutations, we constructed an enzyme that exhibits hyperthermostability without a loss in the activity.

Dissolution behaviour of freibergite-tetrahedrite concentrate in acidic dichromate solution
Asgat ore sample with estimated content of 431g/t silver was concentrated by using floatation method and obtained freibergite-tetrahedrite concentrate with 9050g/t Ag, 35.75% Cu, 28.5% Sb and 10.6% Fe, respectively.

Genetic diversity and population structure of the Taigan dog breed
The Taigan is a rare sighthound from the mountains of Kyrgyzstan. We used DNA markers to study its genetic diversity and compare it with other sighthound breeds. Our findings show that the Taigan shares close genetic ties with the Kazakh Tazy, suggesting a common ancestry shaped by nomadic traditions and regional adaptation.
