The Role of Chemotherapy in Pediatric Myoepithelial Carcinoma: A Systematic Review of the Literature
ABSTRACT Myoepithelial carcinoma (MEC) in pediatric patients is a rare and aggressive malignancy characterized by heterogeneous morphology and variable molecular features. The optimal role of chemotherapy remains unclear. We conducted a systematic review according to PRISMA 2020 guidelines to evaluate chemotherapy in pediatric and young‐adult patients ...

Study on Different Treatment Ways of Slider Joint for Solid-webbed Telescopic Jib
According to greater distortion of local stress calculated in the slider joint for solid-webbed telescopic jib caused by previous simplified way, this paper puts forward to 3×2 kinds of different treatment ways: three kinds of ways dealing with fixed ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Distortion Analysis of Steel Stiffened Plates Accounting for Different Welding Configurations [PDF]
The present work presents a series of experimental distortion analysis of square shipbuilding steel plates with an attached stiffener. Two approved fillet welding configurations are applied to attach the stiffener using shielded metal arc welding at Port

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Cognitive distortion, translation distortion and poetic distortion as semiotic shifts [PDF]
Abstract Both interlingual translation shifts and poetic production can be seen from a semiotic perspective in terms of mental filtering. The shared ground of the three processes - cognition, translation, versification - is to be found in the semiotic perspective: signs (prototext, reality, perception) are interpreted and worked through

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

The distortion of distributed voting [PDF]
Voting can abstractly model any decision-making scenario and as such it has been extensively studied over the decades. Recently, the related literature has focused on quantifying the impact of utilizing only limited information in the voting process on the societal welfare for the outcome, by bounding the distortion of voting rules.
