Planar mappings of subexponentially integrable distortion -- integrability of distortion of inverses

open access: yes, 2016
We establish the optimal regularity for the distortion of inverses of mappings of finite distortion with logarithm-iterated style subexponentially integrable distortion, which generalizes the Theorem 1. of [J. Gill, Ann. Acad. Sci. Fenn. Math. 35 (2010),

NKCC1: A key regulator of glioblastoma progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioblastoma (GBM) progression is driven by disrupted chloride cotransporter homeostasis. NKCC1 is highly expressed in stem‐like, astrocytic, and progenitor cells, correlating with earlier recurrence, while overall survival remains unaffected. NKCC1 serves as a prognostic marker and potential therapeutic target, linking chloride transporter imbalance ...

Distortion correction of diffusion weighted MRI without reverse phase-encoding scans or field-maps

open access: yesbioRxiv, 2020
Diffusion magnetic resonance images may suffer from geometric distortions due to susceptibility induced off resonance fields, which cause geometric mismatch with anatomical images and ultimately affect subsequent quantification of microstructural or ...

Targeting TNBC: core–shell polycationic polyurea dendrimers with inherent anticancer activity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Core–shell polycationic PURE dendrimers were tested in TNBC‐derived tumor models. Both formulations selectively targeted TNBC and effectively reduced tumor volume. PUREG4‐OEI48 suppressed tumor growth without detectable toxicity, whereas PUREG4‐OCEI24, despite showing efficacy, induced hepatic toxicity.

Effect of Quenching Parameters on Distortion Phenomena in AISI 4340 Steel

open access: yesMetals, 2022
During quenching heat treatment, the formation of high residual stress values and the presence of distortion are phenomena which are difficult to control and accurately predict, their effects being extremely important to the components or pieces of ...

Does graph disclosure bias reduce the cost of equity? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Research on disclosure and capital markets focuses primarily on the amount of information provided but pays little attention to the presentation format of this information.

Essential Role of the Cooperative Lattice Distortion in the Charge, Orbital and Spin Ordering in doped Manganites

open access: yes, 2002
The role of lattice distortion in the charge, orbital and spin ordering in half doped manganites has been investigated. For fixed magnetic ordering, we show that the cooperative lattice distortion stabilize the experimentally observed ordering even when ...

Intercompartmental communication in senescence

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Senescent cells experience structural changes in the plasma membrane, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, lysosomes, nucleus, and cytoskeleton. These alterations disrupt crosstalk among cellular compartments, impairing vesicular trafficking, contact sites, and molecular flow.

Certain Classes of Analytic Functions Associated With q-Analogue of p-Valent Cătaş Operator

open access: yesMoroccan Journal of Pure and Applied Analysis, 2021
In this paper, we investigate several interesting properties for certain class of analytic functions defined by q-analogue of p-valent Cătaş operator. All our results are sharp.

Surface Distortion as a Unifying Concept and Descriptor in Oxygen Reduction Reaction Electrocatalysis

open access: yesNature Materials, 2018
Tuning the surface structure at the atomic level is of primary importance to simultaneously meet the electrocatalytic performance and stability criteria required for the development of low-temperature proton-exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). However,
