Exponential asymptotic flocking in the Cucker-Smale model with distributed reaction delays [PDF]
We study a variant of the Cucker-Smale system with distributed reaction delays. Using backward-forward and stability estimates on the quadratic velocity fluctuations we derive sufficient conditions for asymptotic flocking of the solutions. The conditions are formulated in terms of moments of the delay distribution and they guarantee exponential decay ...

Cerebral autoregulation in patients with acute lacunar infarction: a reliable predictor of outcome
Abstract Objective To further investigate the association between dynamic cerebral autoregulation (dCA) and the outcomes in patients with acute lacunar infarction. Methods Patients were prospectively and consecutively enrolled at The First Hospital of Jilin University between 2016 and 2023. dCA was monitored at 1–3 and 7–10 days after the stroke.

Longitudinal Trajectories of Digital Cognitive Biomarkers for Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Background Cognitive impairment is one of the most common and debilitating symptoms of relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). Digital cognitive biomarkers require less time and resources and are rapidly gaining popularity in clinical settings.

Clinical Phenotyping of Long COVID Patients Evaluated in a Specialized Neuro‐COVID Clinic
ABSTRACT Objective To report Long COVID characteristics and longitudinal courses of patients evaluated between 4/14/21–4/14/22 at the University of Pennsylvania Neurological COVID Clinic (PNCC), including clinical symptoms, neurological examination findings, and neurocognitive screening tests from a standardized PNCC neurological evaluation approach ...

Ergodicity analysis and antithetic integral control of a class of stochastic reaction networks with delays [PDF]
Delays are an important phenomenon arising in a wide variety of real world systems. They occur in biological models because of diffusion effects or as simplifying modeling elements. We propose here to consider delayed stochastic reaction networks.

Combination Therapy With Vigabatrin and Prednisolone Versus Vigabatrin Alone for Infantile Spasms
ABSTRACT Objective The study evaluated the effectiveness of combination therapy with vigabatrin and prednisolone versus vigabatrin alone for treating infantile epileptic spasms syndrome (IESS). Methods This single‐center, single‐blind, randomized trial enrolled infants aged 2–14 months with new‐onset IESS, randomly assigned them (1:1) to receive either

Empirical Output Distribution of Good Delay-Limited Codes for Quasi-Static Fading Channels [PDF]
This paper considers delay-limited communication over quasi-static fading channels under a long-term power constraint. A sequence of length-$n$ delay-limited codes for a quasi-static fading channel is said to be capacity-achieving if the codes achieve the delay-limited capacity, which is defined to be the maximum rate achievable by delay-limited codes.

Universal Proteomic Signature After Exercise‐Induced Muscle Injury in Muscular Dystrophies
ABSTRACT Objective Several neuromuscular disorders (NMDs) are characterized by progressive muscle damage and are marked by the elevation of circulating muscle proteins from activity‐related injury. Despite a diverse array of genetic drivers, many NMDs share similar patterns of exercise intolerance and higher concentrations of muscle injury proteins ...
