Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Consensus-based economic dispatch for DC microgrids incorporating realistic cyber delays

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
This paper introduces a distributed control approach for optimizing the operation of islanded DC microgrids (µGs), accounting for cyber delays and network failures.

Existence of nonoscillatory solutions of higher-order neutral differential equations with positive and negative coefficients

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
In this paper we consider the existence of nonoscillatory solutions of higher-order neutral differential equations with distributed coefficients and delays.

Survival Outcomes and Complications Among Canadian Children With Retinoblastoma: A Population‐Based Report From CYP‐C

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common pediatric ocular cancer, yet population‐based data on survival and risk factors remain limited. This study aimed to describe survival in a large national RB cohort and identify predictors of death and complications.

An advanced delay-dependent approach of impulsive genetic regulatory networks besides the distributed delays, parameter uncertainties and time-varying delays

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2018
In this typescript, we concerned the problem of delay-dependent approach of impulsive genetic regulatory networks besides the distributed delays, parameter uncertainties and time-varying delays.

Evaluating the Utility of Paired Tumor and Germline Targeted DNA Sequencing for Pediatric Oncology Patients: A Single Institution Report

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the diagnostic yield and utility of universal paired tumor–normal multigene panel sequencing in newly diagnosed pediatric solid and central nervous system (CNS) tumor patients and to compare the detection of germline pathogenic/likely pathogenic variants (PV/LPVs) against established clinical referral criteria for cancer ...

A Novel Approach to Delay-Variation-Dependent Stability Analysis of 2-D Discrete-Time Systems With Mixed Delays

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, a stability analysis problem is studied for a class of two-dimensional (2-D) discrete-time systems with time-varying and distributed delays described by the second Fornasini-Marchesini (FM) model. First, new 2-D polynomials-based summation

The Fate (Outcome) of Clinically Apparent Single Lesion and Oligofocal Nephroblastomatosis Treated According to SIOP/GPOH Protocols for Wilms Tumor

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background The management of clinically apparent single lesions or oligofocal nephroblastomatosis, a facultative precursor of nephroblastoma, remains debated. Methods We retrospectively analyzed 37 patients with clinically apparent single or oligofocal nephroblastomatosis (two to three lesions per kidney) among 2347 patients registered between

Delayed Feedback Control near Hopf Bifurcation

open access: yes, 2007
The stability of functional differential equations under delayed feedback is investigated near a Hopf bifurcation. Necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for the stability of the equilibrium solution using averaging theory.

Dynamics of neural systems with discrete and distributed time delays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In real-world systems, interactions between elements do not happen instantaneously, due to the time required for a signal to propagate, reaction times of individual elements, and so forth.
