Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

This paper is concerned with optimal filtering in a distributed multiple sensor system with the so-called out-of-sequence measurements (OOSM). Based on BLUE (best linear unbiased estimation) fusion, we present two algorithms for updating with OOSM that ...

Wide-angle all-optical filtering via defective distributed Bragg reflectors
In this paper, we propose a distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) involving active atoms doped in the defect layer to manipulate the transmission and group velocity of a weak probe field. We exploit three-level rubidium atoms in a Ladder configuration, which

In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...

A Survey on Multisensor Fusion and Consensus Filtering for Sensor Networks
Multisensor fusion and consensus filtering are two fascinating subjects in the research of sensor networks. In this survey, we will cover both classic results and recent advances developed in these two topics.

$\sigma$-filters of distributive lattices
Summary: The concept of \(\sigma\)-filters is introduced in distributive lattices and studied some properties of these classes of filters. Two sets of equivalent conditions are derived one for every \(\mu\)-filter to become a \(\sigma\)-filter and the other for every filter to become a \(\sigma\)-filter of a distributive lattice.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...
