In this paper, a new family of ceramic resonators and filters is introduced. The proposed resonators are enabled by the integration of distributed resonators into standard Printed Circuit Board (PCB) substrates. This integration caters for not only a tremendous reduction in the resonator profile, but it also enables utilization of the unused PCB real ...

The study of distributed networks has been prompted by the trend in electronic equipment toward smaller and smaller physical structures. Various investigators have determined the network characteristics of rather complex distributed RC structures. It is the purpose of this paper to point out the effects of geometrical tapering on the characteristics of

Regular filters of distributive lattices
2023Summary: The concepts of regular filters and \(\pi\)-filters are introduced in distributive lattices. A set of equivalent conditions is given for a \(D\)-filter to become a regular filter. For every \(D\)-filter, it is proved that there exists a homomorphism whose dense kernel is a regular filter.

\(\omega\)-filters of distributive lattices
2022Summary: The notion of \(\omega\)-filters is introduced in distributive lattices and their properties are studied. A set of equivalent conditions is derived for every maximal filter of a distributive lattice to become an \(\omega\)-filter which leads to a characterization of quasi-complemented lattices. Some sufficient conditions are derived for proper

Distributed information filtering using consensus filters
2009 American Control Conference, 2009In this paper we present a new information consensus filter for distributed dynamic-state estimation. Estimation is handled by the traditional information filter, while communication of measurements is handled by a consensus filter. First and second-order statistics of local estimates are discussed.

AbstractA programming model called distributed filter processes for transparent filtering in distributed systems is presented. Filter processes are modeled as extensions to distributed processes. Messages can be captured transparently by intermediate filter processes.

Distribution system harmonic filter planning
IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 1996A planning methodology for distribution system harmonic filtering is proposed. The method is intended for use on radial distribution systems with no large harmonic sources. It is proposed that 60 hertz VAr planning be done first to allocate the VAr resources.
