Mechanical Vibration Signal Denoising Using Quantum-Inspired Standard Deviation Based on Subband Based Gaussian Mixture Model

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2018
Aiming at improving noise reduction effect for mechanical vibration signal, a Gaussian mixture model (SGMM) and a quantum-inspired standard deviation (QSD) are proposed and applied to the denoising method using the thresholding function in wavelet domain.

Field evaluation of centre pivot sprinkler irrigation system in the North-East of Iran

open access: yesJournal of Water and Land Development, 2017
A field evaluation of the technical performance of centre pivot sprinkler irrigation system was carried out during the maize crop growing season and when operating with different working speeds: S1 - 40%, S2 - 60% and S3 - 80%.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Dynamic Management of Flexibility in Distribution Networks through Sensitivity Coefficients

open access: yesEnergies
Due to a rising share of renewable energy sources on the production side and electrification of transport and heating on the consumption side, the efficient management of flexibility in distribution networks is crucial for ensuring optimal operation and ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Coupling coefficients of a distributed execution

open access: yesTheoretical Computer Science, 1993
Coupling coefficients of a distributed execution which evaluate the temporal interactions (delays) of a distributed execution between the processes during execution are defined. The coefficients assess the structure of message exchanges rather than the quantity of exchanged information.

Experimental study of multicomponent diffusion in low permeable sediments [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2019
Diffusion coefficients for Na+ and distribution coefficients for Cs+, Ba2+, Ni2+, CO2+, Sr2+ were measured on low permeable samples (3 cm diameter, average length 7 cm) from the deep disposal site Siberian Chemical Combine (SSC) using the end-diffusion ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Distribution dependent SDEs with singular coefficients [PDF]

open access: yesStochastic Processes and their Applications, 2019
Under integrability conditions on distribution dependent coefficients, existence and uniqueness are proved for McKean-Vlasov type SDEs with non-degenerate noise. When the coefficients are Dini continuous in the space variable, gradient estimates and Harnack type inequalities are derived.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
