A combinatorial identity for studying Sato-Tate type problems [PDF]
We derive a combinatorial identity which is useful in studying the distribution of Fourier coefficients of L-functions by allowing us to pass from knowledge of moments of the coefficients to the distribution of the coefficients.Comment: This paper ...

TLM coefficients with distributed losses
In TLM modelling of lossy systems, instead of concentrating losses in lumped resistors or stubs, an attempt is made to model the losses as distributed, in the ‘connect’ or ‘propagate’ stage, while leaving the scattering lossless. TLM transmission and reflection coefficients are derived using a novel, distributed, quasi-black box approach.

Equality of Medical Health Resource Allocation in China Based on the Gini Coefficient Method
Background: The Chinese government is trying to achieve the goal of “universal access to basic health care services”. However, the inequality of the distribution of health care resources across the country is the biggest obstacle.

Zero Distribution of System with Unknown Random Variables Case Study: Avoiding Collision Path
This paper presents the stochastic analysis of finding the feasible trajectories of robotics arm motion at obstacle surrounding. Unknown variables are coefficients of polynomials joint angle so that the collision-free motion is achieved.

In this work, a class of multidimensional stochastic hybrid dynamic models is studied. The system under investigation is a first-order linear nonhomogeneous system of Itô-Doob type stochastic differential equations with switching coefficients.

Stochastic ranking process with time dependent intensities
We consider the stochastic ranking process with the jump times of the particles determined by Poisson random measures. We prove that the joint empirical distribution of scaled position and intensity measure converges almost surely in the infinite ...
