System reliability and stability can be significantly improved by the interconnected operation of multimicrogrids, and electric vehicles (EVs) provide a more flexible solution for frequency control, which also present challenges for frequency control ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Distribution Of Wealth In A Network Model Of The Economy
We show, analytically and numerically, that wealth distribution in the Bouchaud-M\'ezard network model of the economy is described by a three-parameter generalized inverse gamma distribution.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

HyperVAE: A Minimum Description Length Variational Hyper-Encoding Network
We propose a framework called HyperVAE for encoding distributions of distributions. When a target distribution is modeled by a VAE, its neural network parameters \theta is drawn from a distribution p(\theta) which is modeled by a hyper-level VAE.

Empirical analysis of the worldwide maritime transportation network
In this paper we present an empirical study of the worldwide maritime transportation network (WMN) in which the nodes are ports and links are container liners connecting the ports.

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Analytical results for the distribution of shortest path lengths in random networks
We present two complementary analytical approaches for calculating the distribution of shortest path lengths in Erdos-R\'enyi networks, based on recursion equations for the shells around a reference node and for the paths originating from it. The results
