Fuzzy logic controller based distribution static compensator

This paper presents distribution static compensator (DSTATCOM) using a Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy logic controller (FLC) for harmonic elimination, power factor correction, load balancing and voltage regulation. The TS fuzzy logic controller is based on linguistic variables which eliminates the need of a mathematical model of the DSTATCOM.
