Reliability Evaluation of Distribution Systems
Reliability of the electric power supply is essential in modern society. The electric power system with its generation, as well as its transmission and distribution networks, is one of the most complex technical systems that humanity has created ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Scenarios of Contaminant Diffusion on a Medium Size Urban Water Distribution Network
Heightened concern over potential acts of sabotage against water distribution systems is imparting greater importance to the conceptualization of contaminant migration and the value of simulating contaminant dispersion scenarios which are as realistic as

Fast and Scalable Three-Phase Voltage Sensitivity Method for Unbalanced Distribution Networks
Voltage control in modern distribution systems (DSs) has been increasingly challenged by the high penetration of distributed energy resources (DERs), unbalanced three-phase topologies, and voltage-sensitive loads.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

A review of protection systems for distribution networks embedded with renewable generation
The rapid growth of grid-connected embedded generation is changing the operational characteristics of power distribution networks. Amongst a range of issues being reported in the research, the effect of these changes on so-called 'traditional protection ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.
