Thermoeconomic approach for the analysis of low temperature district heating systems [PDF]
In this paper a thermoeconomic analysis of district heating systems is performed. The analysis aims at comparing possible options to supply heat to the users, using low temperature networks.

Locating a bioenergy facility using a hybrid optimization method [PDF]
In this paper, the optimum location of a bioenergy generation facility for district energy applications is sought. A bioenergy facility usually belongs to a wider system, therefore a holistic approach is adopted to define the location that optimizes the ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Minimizing the supply temperature at the district heating plant – dynamic optimization [PDF]
The constraint contains two elements, namely the heat losses and the electricity consumption for pumping at the producer. The aim was to achieve the lowest acceptable costs in an operation. The options with the supply temperature at the area starting point set to 80/60, then 60/40, and eventually 50/30 (low temperature, 4th generation district heating)

Совершенствование алгоритмической базы эволюционного синтеза нейросетевых моделей потребления электрической энергии в коммунально-бытовом секторе [PDF]
A novel diploid genetic algorithm (DGA) scheme is proposed. An original modification of the crossover operator and an additional genetic operator are introduced.

Comparative techno-economic analysis of ORC and gasification for bioenergy applications [PDF]
The use of biomass for decentralized energy production has undergone a significant development the last years. The fact that this fuel is CO(2)-free provides many advantages in European and world aims for sustainable energy sources. Biomass trigeneration

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

An optimization model for multi-biomass tri-generation energy supply [PDF]
In this paper, a decision support system (DSS) for multi-biomass energy conversion applications is presented. The system in question aims at supporting an investor by thoroughly assessing an investment in locally existing multi-biomass exploitation for ...

Association of Corticospinal Tract Asymmetry With Ambulatory Ability After Intracerebral Hemorrhage
ABSTRACT Background Ambulatory ability after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is important to patients. We tested whether asymmetry between ipsi‐ and contra‐lesional corticospinal tracts (CSTs) assessed by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is associated with post‐ICH ambulation.
