Carbon disulphide intrauterine sensitization
Journal of Applied Toxicology, 1983AbstractThis study was designed to evaluate the effect of carbon disulphide (CS2) exposure during pregnancy in two subsequent generations. Albino rats (F1), which had been prenatally exposed by maternal inhalation to teratogenic (200 and 100 mgm−3) and subteratogenic (10 and 0.03 mg m−3) concentrations of CS2, were reared until maturity and mated to ...

Scientific Lubrication, 1962
IN THE last three years the wire industry has done considerable production testing with molybdenum disulphide as an additive to their wire drawing and forming lubricants, with the result that by the beginning of 1962 an estimated 70% of the U.S. mills were using molybdenum disulphide (moly) in production.

Classification of Protein Disulphide Bonds
2019Protein disulphide bonds are the links between pairs of cysteine residues in the polypeptide chain. These bonds are classified based on the sign of the five dihedral angles that define the cystine residue. Twenty disulphide conformations are possible using this convention and all 20 are represented in protein structures.

Catatorulin Effect of Aneurin Disulphide
Nature, 1946ANEURIN disulphide1, formed by opening of the thiazole ring and oxidation to the—S—S—form, does not give the thiochrome reaction, unless suitably reduced by cysteine; it was reported to have some 60 per cent of the biological activity of aneurin, when given orally to animals. I have found in catatorulin tests, by methods previously described2, with the
