Diterpenoid Alkaloids from Delphinium majus [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
From the whole herbs of Delphinium majus, three new C19-diterpenoid alkaloids, majusines A−C (1−3), and six new C20-diterpenoid alkaloids, majusimines A−D (4−7) and majusidine A and B (8 and 9), have been isolated, together with 15 known compounds.

REGγ Suppresses Ferroptosis and Induces Drug Resistance by Degrading WDR6 in Chondrosarcoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Here, we identified REGγ as a susceptibility factor in chondrosarcoma. Our study demonstrates that abnormally activated REGγ‐20S proteasome promotes chondrosarcoma development and progression. Further validation in animal models revealed that blocking REGγ function induced ferroptosis, suppressed malignant progression of chondrosarcoma, and uncovered a

Diterpenoid acids from Mulinum spinosum [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
Two new diterpenoid acids were isolated from Mulinum spinosum. Their structures determined by NMR data are related to the mulinane skeleton, but lack the endoperoxide ring ...

A Review on Daphnane-Type Diterpenoids and Their Bioactive Studies

open access: yesMolecules, 2019
Natural daphnane diterpenoids, mainly distributed in plants of the Thymelaeaceae and Euphorbiaceae families, usually include a 5/7/6-tricyclic ring system with poly-hydroxyl groups located at C-3, C-4, C-5, C-9, C-13, C-14, or C-20, while some special ...

Heat stress in spermatogenesis: a redox‐dependent decision network linking ROS, autophagy, and regulated cell death

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Heat stress (HS) is an increasing threat to male reproductive health, disrupting spermatogenesis through complex and interdependent cellular responses within the seminiferous epithelium. Although excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) production is a hallmark of HS, ROS also act as central regulators of cell fate decisions beyond their role ...

Optimising the Eco‐Friendly Extraction of Carotenoids From Gac Fruit: A Sustainable Solution for Natural Red Food Colourants

open access: yesFood Chemistry International, EarlyView.
Gac fruit's high carotenoid content, especially in the aril, makes it an excellent natural red pigment source for food applications, offering a safer alternative to synthetic dyes. Ethanol extraction achieved the highest overall pigment recovery (89.53%), whereas ethyl lactate extraction yielded the highest levels of total carotenoids, β‐carotene ...
