From a database of 170 pentagonal 2D materials, 4 candidates exhibiting altermagnetic ordering are screened. Furthermore, the spin‐splitting and unconventional boundary states in the pentagonal 2D altermagnetic monolayer MnS2 are investigated. A MnS2‐based altermagnetic tunneling junction is designed and, through ab initio quantum transport simulations,

Superalgebras of (split-)division algebras and the split octonionic M-theory in (6,5)-signature [PDF]
The connection of (split-)division algebras with Clifford algebras and supersymmetry is investigated. At first we introduce the class of superalgebras constructed from any given (split-)division algebra. We further specify which real Clifford algebras and real fundamental spinors can be reexpressed in terms of split-quaternions.

Conformally Perforated Shellular Metamaterials with Tunable Thermomechanical and Acoustic Properties
This study introduces Conformally Perforated Shellular Metamaterials (CPSMs), which overcome TPMS design limitations by mapping 2D cellular layouts onto 3D surfaces. CPSMs exhibit enhanced elastic stiffness, thermal conductivity, and acoustic performance compared to intact P‐type shellulars, demonstrating their potential as multifunctional ...

This study investigates optoelectronic PUFs that improve on traditional optical and electrical PUFs. The absorber materials are randomly coated through spray coating, ligand exchange, and dynamic spin coating. Incident light generates wavelength‐dependent binary multikey and enhances security ternary keys, approaching near‐ideal inter‐ and intra ...

On Fuzzy Arithmetic Operations: Some Properties and Distributive Approximations [PDF]
We analyze a decomposition of the fuzzy numbers (or intervals) which seems to be of interest in the study of some properties of fuzzy arithmetic operations and, in particular, in the analysis of fuzziness, of shape-preservation (symmetry) and ...

A novel descriptor and a bottom‐up design principle are established to enable the rational design of hydrogen storage materials based on d‐block transition metal single‐atom COFs. By modulating H₂ adsorption through d‐orbital tuning, this approach achieves both high storage capacity and fast kinetics, while revealing a volcano‐type relationship between

Progestin drugs are loaded into a mesoporous silicon dioxide host by melt‐infiltration. Drugs that decompose at or close to their melting point can be loaded by the addition of cholesterol, which acts as a melting point suppressor. High mass loading of the drug is achieved, and dissolution of the composite is controlled by the nanoscale properties of ...
