The three worlds and two sides of mathematics and a visual construction for a continuous nowhere differentiable function

open access: yesLUMAT, 2022
A rigorous and axiomatic-deductive approach is emphasized in teaching mathematics at university-level. Therefore, the secondary-tertiary transition includes a major change in mathematical thinking.

Dissipative generators, divisible dynamical maps and Kadison-Schwarz inequality [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. A 100, 052120 (2019), 2019
We introduce a concept of Kadison-Schwarz divisible dynamical maps. It turns out that it is a natural generalization of the well known CP-divisibility which characterizes quantum Markovian evolution. It is proved that Kadison-Schwarz divisible maps are fully characterized in terms of time-local dissipative generators. Simple qubit evolution illustrates

LOCAL INSTRUCTION THEORY ON DIVISION IN MATHEMATICS GASING

open access: yesJournal on Mathematics Education, 2014
Several studies on learning mathematics for rural area's student indicate that students have difficulty in understanding the concept of division operation. Students are more likely to be introduced by the use of the formula without involving the concept itself and learning division separate the concrete situation of learning process. This underlies the

Quasi-geometric infinite divisibility [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Mathematical Journal 2 (2002), 551-567, 2021
The object of this paper is to introduce and study the concept of quasi-geometric infinite divisibility for distributions on $\bf R_+$. These distributions arise as mixing distributions of (discrete) geometric infinitely divisible Poisson mixtures. Several characterizations and closure properties are presented.

A simple mathematical model for the growth and division of cells [PDF]

open access: yesMathematicS In Action, 2017
In this paper, we derive an electrostatic-electrodynamic model of the exchanges of ions between a cell and its exterior during its growth, as well as a model of exchange of ions within the cell. Observations show that, in the phase G1, the growth of the volume explains the variation of density of ions (by dilution), hence explains the change of ...
