Localised gastrointestinal diffuse large B cell lymphomas; Does surgical approach still exist?

open access: yesForum of Clinical Oncology, 2015
Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the commonest pathological type of gastrointestinal lymphoma and its management was changed from surgery to combined chemoimmunotherapy in the last decade; however, this strategy is questionable ...

CD30 Expression and Its Correlation with Clinicopathologic Features in Indonesian Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesAsian Pacific Journal of Cancer Biology, 2020
Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common subtype (68.2%) of B cells Non Hodgkin Lymphoma in Indonesia. This tumor heterogeneity is characterized by a variety of clinical conditions, morphology, genetic profiles, therapeutic ...

SENIOR‐IPI: An easily applicable prognostic index for first‐line large B‐cell lymphomas patients >80 years treated with curative intent

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
Summary Using LYmphoma Study Association clinical trials combining 438 first‐line large B‐cell lymphomas (LBCL) patients >80 years old, we defined SENIOR‐IPI, an easily applicable prognostic index for this elderly population treated with an anti‐CD20‐miniCHOP (cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone)‐based regimen.

Pie charts of STAT3 splice variants in DLBCL.

open access: yes, 2015
Splice variant ratios in DLBCL differ minimally, except for RIVA. Absolute quantification qPCR was used to determine proportions of STAT3 splice variants in each cell line. Percentages of each splice variant are shown.

SAKK 35/14 randomized trial of rituximab with or without ibrutinib for patients with untreated follicular lymphoma

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
Summary The randomized phase II SAKK 35/14 trial, conducted by the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (SAKK) and the Nordic Lymphoma Group (NLG), compared efficacy and safety of rituximab (375 mg/m2 intravenously for 4 weeks followed by maintenance every 2 months for 24 months) plus placebo (arm A) versus the same schedule of rituximab plus ...

MTDH is overexpressed in DLBCL tumor samples.

open access: yes, 2012
(A) Real-time quantitative PCR analysis of MTDH expression in DLBCL (n = 21) and control (n = 25). PCR products were confirmed as a single product at the desired size on agarose gels (1–3: DLBCL; 4–5: Control). Control, reactive hyperplasia of lymph node.
