Psychological Features Associated With Awake Bruxism in Painful TMD: The Role of Anxiety

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 53, Issue 5, Page 1009-1017, May 2026.
Objective: Evaluate the role of anxiety by comparing the frequency of AB behaviours, as well as levels of perceived stress, pain catastrophizing and depressive symptoms among patients with painful TMD, categorised by clinical anxiety levels. Methods and Study Protocol: TMD anxiety subgroups (N = 72): Clinical elevated anxiety symptoms (T ≥ 61) n = 30 ...

Allium‐Derived Compounds Against Multidrug‐Resistant Bacteria: Antibacterial Activity and Synergistic Effects

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 8, 28 April 2026.
This study evaluates four compounds derived from the genus Allium against 330 multidrug‐resistant bacteria. Propyl‐propane‐thiosulfonate (PTSO) exhibits the highest activity, particularly against Gram‐positive strains, while Gram‐negative bacteria are less affected.

The Dissipation Regime of Turbulence on Mars Observed With Microphone Data From the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 8, 28 April 2026.
Abstract Turbulent winds are a regular occurrence in planetary boundary layers. Turbulence affects mixing, energy fluxes and forcing on the surface environment. Energy injected into an atmosphere generates eddies of many scales down to a size where molecular viscous forces dominate, termed the Kolmogorov length scale.

Challenges in Simultaneous Microstructuring and Hyperdoping of Germanium with Ultrafast Laser

open access: yesphysica status solidi (a), Volume 223, Issue 8, 22 April 2026.
Femtosecond laser processing is explored as a single‐step route to microstructure and hyperdope germanium for extended infrared absorption. Comparative experiments with and without a Ti precursor reveal that Ge's shallow green light absorption and low thermal conductivity drive intense localized melting, evaporation, and redeposition. Post‐cleaning and

Multifactorial Perspective for Greening Solid‐Phase Peptide Synthesis: Rigid Polyacrylate Macroporous Resin in Combination with Green Solvents

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 7, 14 April 2026.
A rigid, non‐swelling polyacrylate resin enables greener solid‐phase peptide synthesis by allowing various green solvents during the peptide synthesis and significantly reduced process mass intensity without compromising peptide synthesis efficiency/purity.
