3D‐Printed Dynamic Heart Model With Left‐Side Anatomy and Integrated Sensor for Edge‐to‐Edge Repair and Regurgitation Reduction

This work presents a fully synthetic, 3D‐printed dynamic heart model with left‐side anatomy featuring sutured mitral valve chordae tendineae analogs, embedded actuators for physiologic wall contraction, and customized flexible pressure sensors for the left ventricle.

Käesoleva bakalaureusetöö eesmärgiks oli konstrueerida DMA mõõteseade, mis oleks võimeline mõõtma õhukeste katsekehade dünaamilist elastsusmoodulit. Eesmärk oli, et seade deformeeriks katsekeha kuni 1 mm ning väljastab deformatsiooni ja jõu hetkväärtusi pingesignaalidena. Töö sisulises pooles kirjeldatakse erinevaid jõuandureid.

Autonomous Locomotion of Tensegrity Structure on Low‐Temperature Surfaces

A low‐temperature responsive tensegrity structure (LRTS) is constructed by integrating low‐responsive temperature liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) cables, nonresponsive cables, and stiff rods. The low phase transition temperature of LCE is achieved by introducing a new liquid crystal mesogen.
