2012 Data Compression Conference, 2012
DNA micro arrays are useful to identify the function and regulation of a large number of genes in a single experiment, even whole genomes. In this work, we analyze the relationship between DNA micro array image histograms and the compression performance of loss less JPEG2000.

Coding DNA Sequence Watermarking
2014This paper presents a coding sequence watermarking on lifting based DWT domain and brings up the availability of frequency domain watermarking for DNA sequence. The proposed scheme allocates codons to numerical codes by the permutation table of histogram rank of amino acid and substitutes a sub-sequence of codons to a sequence that has DWT coefficients

DNA recognition code of transcription factors
"Protein Engineering, Design and Selection", 1995Introduction Over 35 years have passed since the 'central dogma' of molecular biology (DNA makes RNA makes protein) was proposed (Crick, 1958). Despite its remarkable verification, it is being seen increasingly as limited, for if the whole flow of information in a cell were unidirectional, all cells with the same complement of genetic material would ...

Encoding Cooperative DNA Codes
2005Abstract : The primary goal of this research was the development of an enabling technology for DNA computing. It is focused on the construction of a biomolecular architecture designed to employ new algorithmic paradigms based on the massively parallel computational power of DNA hybridization.
