A Matrix-Theoretic Approach to the Construction of Reversible DNA Codes Over
Let $n,k$ , and t be the positive integers. The primary aim of this paper is to introduce a new approach for the construction of reversible and reversible DNA codes using the concept of double-reflected matrices of any matrices over a commutative ring ...

This paper considers cyclic DNA codes of arbitrary length over the ring $R=\F_2[u]/u^4-1$. A mapping is given between the elements of $R$ and the alphabet $\{A,C,G,T\}$ which allows the additive stem distance to be extended to this ring. Cyclic codes over $R$ are designed such that their images under the mapping are also cyclic or quasi-cyclic of index

Inhibition of CDK9 enhances AML cell death induced by combined venetoclax and azacitidine
The CDK9 inhibitor AZD4573 downregulates c‐MYC and MCL‐1 to induce death of cytarabine (AraC)‐resistant AML cells. This enhances VEN + AZA‐induced cell death significantly more than any combination of two of the three drugs in AraC‐resistant AML cells.

This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Cyclic codes over non-chain ring R(α1,α2,…,αs) and their applications to quantum and DNA codes
Let $ s \geq 1 $ be a fixed integer. In this paper, we focus on generating cyclic codes over the ring $ \mathcal{R}(\alpha_1, \alpha_2, \ldots, \alpha_s) $, where $ \alpha_i \in \mathbb{F}_q\backslash \{0\} $, $ 1 \leq i \leq s $, by using the Gray map ...

This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Adaptable DNA Storage Coding: An Efficient Framework for Homopolymer Constraint Transitions
Many DNA storage codes take into account homopolymer and GC-content constraints. Still, these codes often need to meet additional practical database requirements, such as error correction and data queries, necessitating considerable financial and time ...

A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.
