Stereotyped Subclones Revealed by High‐Density Single‐Cell Lineage Tracing Support Robust Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Based on a well‐established in vitro directed differentiation model and an integrated analysis of high‐density cell lineage trees (CLTs) and single‐cell transcriptomes, it is demonstrated that many subclones are formed by sub‐CLTs resembling each other in terms of both cell type compositions and topological structures.

Fully automated complementary DNA microarray segmentation using a novel fuzzy-based algorithm

open access: yesJournal of Medical Signals and Sensors, 2015
DNA microarray is a powerful approach to study simultaneously, the expression of 1000 of genes in a single experiment. The average value of the fluorescent intensity could be calculated in a microarray experiment. The calculated intensity values are very

DNA expression microarrays may be the wrong tool to identify biological pathways [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
DNA microarray expression signatures are expected to provide new insights into patho- physiological pathways. Numerous variant statistical methods have been described for each step of the signal analysis. We employed five similar statistical tests on the

Recognition of cDNA microarray image Using Feedforward artificial neural network [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Artificial Intelligence & Applications (IJAIA), Vol. 5, No. 5, September 2014, 2014
The complementary DNA (cDNA) sequence is considered to be the magic biometric technique for personal identification. In this paper, we present a new method for cDNA recognition based on the artificial neural network (ANN). Microarray imaging is used for the concurrent identification of thousands of genes.

Accurate Transcription Factor Activity Inference to Decipher Cell Identity from Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Data with MetaTF

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MetaTF is a new computational framework that uses single‐cell RNA sequencing (scRNA‐seq) data to infer transcription factor activity with the aim to help in deciphering cells identity starting from a heterogeneous population, and apply it to characterize mouse hematopoietic stem cells and breast cancer epithelial cells, thus identifying a novel subset ...

HIC1 suppresses Tumor Progression and Enhances CD8+ T Cells Infiltration Through Promoting GSDMD‐induced Pyroptosis in Gastric Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
These findings elucidate the innovative role of HIC1 as a transcriptional activator in GC, driving the initiation of pyroptosis and enhancing CD8+ T cell infiltration, which has certain novelty and creative significance. Collectively, targeting HIC1 can present an appealing immunotherapeutic strategy to improve outcomes in GC patients.

Comparison of mRNA gene expression by RT-PCR and DNA microarray

open access: yesBioTechniques, 2004
Few studies have compared the quantification of mRNA by DNA microarray to the results obtained by reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR). In this study, mRNA was collected from the healing femoral fracture callus of adult and juvenile rats at various times ...
