NAD+ Metabolism Reprogramming Drives SIRT1‐Dependent Deacetylation Inducing PD‐L1 Nuclear Localization in Cervical Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 15, April 17, 2025.
The identification of PD‐L1 localization may be a key factor in the resistance to immunotherapy observed in patients. The discovery that PD‐L1 over expression is regulated by both transcriptional and post‐transcriptional processes. The acetyl‐proteomic analysis that identified SIRT1 as a key player in the deacetylation of histone H3 at lysines 27 and ...

Perillaldehyde Improves Parkinson‐Like Deficits by Targeting G3BP Mediated Stress Granule Assembly in Preclinical Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 14, April 10, 2025.
This study uncovers that stress granules (SGs) are involved in the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease (PD). Perillaldehyde (PAE) can improve Parkinson‐like deficits in preclinical models by directly binding to G3BP and instigating liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) of G3BP.

Quorum Sensing Coordinates Carbon and Nitrogen Metabolism to Optimize Public Goods Production in Pseudomonas fluorescens 2P24

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 12, March 27, 2025.
Pseudomonas fluorescens 2P24 utilizes a LasI/LasR‐type quorum sensing (QS) system, MupI/MupR, to regulate carbon and nitrogen metabolism for optimal production of secondary metabolites as public goods, including 2,4‐diacetylphloroglucinol, mupirocin, and siderophores.

Berberine is a Novel Mitochondrial Calcium Uniporter Inhibitor that Disrupts MCU‐EMRE Assembly

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 17, May 8, 2025.
Berberine, a safe and FDA‐approved drug, is identified as a novel mitochondrial calcium uniporter (MCU) inhibitor. By disrupting MCU‐EMRE interaction, Berberine prevents mitochondrial calcium overload and protects against ischemia/reperfusion injury, offering a promising therapeutic strategy for diseases linked to mitochondrial calcium dysregulation ...

DPImpute: A Genotype Imputation Framework for Ultra‐Low Coverage Whole‐Genome Sequencing and its Application in Genomic Selection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 16, April 24, 2025.
DPImpute is a two‐step pipeline that outperforms existing tools in whole‐genome SNP imputation, particularly under conditions of ultra‐low coverage sequencing, small sample sizes, and limited references. It enables precise imputation for single blastocyst cells, supporting genomic selection at the pre‐implantation stage.
