Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

THE INFORMATION SYSTEM AS A TOOL TO MANAGE R&D AT THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCES OF UKRAINE

open access: yesÌнформаційні технології в освіті, 2013
The objectives of R&D management in NAPS of Ukraine are considered scientific activity as well as connected document types. There is the analysis of requirements for information systems to manage R&D, named “R&D”.

Using Heider’s Epistemology of Thing and Medium for Unpacking the Conception of Documents: Gantt Charts and Boundary Objects

open access: yesProceedings from the Document Academy, 2015
Documents play a central role for many organizational processes. Current conceptualizations of documents predominantly engage with documents in two different ways.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Enfatizando o processo

open access: yesSignificação: Revista de Cultura Audiovisual, 2019
In response to the concept of an artistic project, technology has a double role: it hides the performer behind the computer and extends the possibilities by representing him/her.

Documentation for the Sake of Documentation? [PDF]

open access: yesCirculation, 1999
To the Editor: In their recent study, Frolkis and colleagues1 attempt to determine by chart review how often patients with acute myocardial infarction are counseled to quit smoking and encouraged to exercise. They acknowledge that if no such counseling nor encouragement is documented in the chart, the study assumes none was done. Certainly a patient

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
