Improving Biodiversity Surveillance in Arid Systems With Environmental DNA: Detection of Sceloporus Lizards in Texas

open access: yesEnvironmental DNA, Volume 8, Issue 4, July‐August 2026.
eDNA detection rate did not significantly differ among individuals and was not statistically associated with incubation time. However, the number of positive detections was doubled in samples extracted following CTAB extraction methods. ABSTRACT Arid lands account for over 40% of the terrestrial habitat on Earth yet rank among the least studied ...

Modelling Climate Change Effects on Groundwater Recharge and Temperature for a Pre‐Alpine Lysimeter

open access: yesHydrological Processes, Volume 40, Issue 7, July 2026.
Climate change is projected to increase winter groundwater recharge and extreme precipitation events in pre‐alpine regions. Groundwater temperatures will rise by up to 26%, primarily driven by air temperature. These trends pose challenges for future water availability and quality, requiring adaptive water resource management.

A microwave Doherty amplifier employing envelope tracking technique for high efficiency and linearity

open access: yes, 2019
In this letter, we have demonstrated a microwave Doherty amplifier employing input signal envelope tracking technique. In the amplifier, gate bias of peaking amplifier is controlled according to the magnitude of the envelope. A 2.14-GHz Doherty amplifier

Eco‐anxiety in Tampa Bay: Prevalence, risk factors and recommendations for environmental practitioners

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 8, Issue 7, Page 2457-2480, July 2026.
Abstract As the environmental crisis grows, concerns over its impact on mental health are rising. A growing body of research is investigating novel ecological emotions, with eco‐anxiety garnering significant attention. Yet much of the discourse has centred around clinical implications, leaving environmental practitioners feeling powerless to address ...

Design of a tri-band single-loop load-modulated Doherty power amplifier

open access: yesEngineering Science and Technology, an International Journal
This article presents a novel tri-band Doherty power amplifier (DPA) architecture based on a single-loop L-C load modulation network. By introducing additional current and power combining nodes, this architecture enhances the degrees of freedom and ...

Spatiotemporal Assessment of Groundwater Interactions With a Regulated River: A Case Study of the Nechako River, Canada

open access: yesRiver Research and Applications, Volume 42, Issue 6, Page 1172-1187, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Regulated rivers represent complex hydrological systems where groundwater–surface water interactions are governed by natural conditions and human interventions. This study investigates the spatiotemporal dynamics of groundwater–surface water exchanges in the Nechako River, British Columbia (Canada), using numerical simulations.

Designing an asymmetric Doherty amplifier as a final stage RF power amplifier

open access: yes, 2016
Tässä työssä toteutetaan korkeatehoinen asymmetrinen Doherty-vahvistin. Doherty-vahvistimen täytyy toimia 2110– 2170 MHz taajuusalueella ja kyetä vahvistamaan LTE (Long Term Evolution)-signaalia täyttäen 3GPP (Third Generation Partnership Project ...

Assessing the Worth of Noble Gas Tracer Concentrations in Alluvial River‐Aquifer Systems Using Data Space Inversion

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 62, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract Alluvial systems are dynamic, structurally complex environments. Groundwater that is extracted from these systems is widely used for domestic consumption. Numerical models play an important role in the management of this extraction. To provide support for decision‐making, models must assimilate data that inform the spatial and temporal ...
