A spatial epidemic model with a moving boundary
We present a new mathematical model to investigate the spatial spread of an infectious disease. The model consists of a nonlinear PDE system with an unknown velocity field, defined on an epidemic domain that changes with time.

An extension theorem for regular functions of two quaternionic variables [PDF]
For functions of two quaternionic variables that are regular in the sense of Fueter, we establish a result similar in spirit to the Hanges and Tr\`eves theorem.

Exact asymptotic behavior of magnetic stripe domain arrays [PDF]
The classical problem of magnetic stripe domain behavior in films and plates with uniaxial magnetic anisotropy is treated. Exact analytical results are derived for the stripe domain widths as function of applied perpendicular field, $H$, in the regime ...

Small-Signal Modeling of AC Power Electronic Systems: Critical Review and Unified Modeling
The harmonic state-space (HSS), the dynamic phasor (DP), and the generalized dq (GDQ) modeling are three widely used methods for small-signal analysis of ac power electronic systems.

Mathematical analysis of parallel convective exchangers with general lateral boundary conditions using generalized graetz modes [PDF]
We propose a mathematical analysis of parallel convective exchangers for any general but longitudinally invariant domains. We analyze general Dirichlet or Neumann prescribed boundary conditions at the outer solid domain.
