Blood α‐Synuclein Separates Parkinson's Disease from Dementia with Lewy Bodies

Objective Aggregation of misfolded α‐synuclein (aSyn) within the brain is the pathologic hallmark of Lewy body diseases (LBDs), including Parkinson's disease (PD), and dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) disease. Although evidence exists for aSyn “strains,” conformations with distinct biological properties, biomarkers for PD versus DLB are lacking.

Cationic Nanoparticles Mitigate Chemotherapy‐Induced Peripheral Neuropathy

Chemotherapy‐induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), caused by chemodrugs like paclitaxel (PTX), leads to severe neuropathic pain. This study evaluates PTX‐loaded PAMAM‐Chol nanoparticles (PTX‐NPs) to alleviate CIPN. Laser‐Patterned Diamond Electrodes for Adhesion and Proliferation of Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells

Laser patterning is used to create diamond electrodes on insulating diamond substrates. The process yields conductive surfaces with high capacitance, wide water windows, and low impedance. The electrode‐enhancing human mesenchymal stem cell adhesion and growth are nontoxic and promote cell alignment.
