Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Optimizing hot workability regions for a novel TZ73 magnesium alloy: a processing map approach
Newly developed Mg‒based alloy with composition of Mg–7Sn–3Zn (wt.%) (TZ73) was prepared by the squeeze casting technique and homogenized at 300 °C for 24 h. A processing map approach was adopted to identify safe hot workability regions.

Deformation potential dominated phonons in ZnS quantum dots
Strong deformation potential (DP) dominated Raman spectra are reported for quantum confined cubic ZnS nanoclusters under off-resonance conditions allowed only in quantum dots. A flurry of zone boundary phonons is demonstrated in the scattering process. Transverse optic (TO) mode in the multi-phonon process shows only even order overtones suggesting the
