Targeting NSUN2‐Mediated m5C Modification Attenuates Chondrocyte Senescence and NLRP3 Activation in Osteoarthritis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NSUN2‐mediated m5C modification cooperates with ALYREF to stabilize and export IP3R3 mRNA, increasing IP3R3 expression and Ca2 + overload in chondrocytes. This signaling promotes mitochondrial dysfunction, NLRP3 inflammasome activation, and senescence, thereby accelerating osteoarthritis progression.

Identification of an Osteochondral Erosion Process in Gout Driven by Fibrinogen‐Integrin Activation and Local MSU Crystallization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cartilage injury promotes local fibrinogen deposition, which accelerates monosodium urate crystallization and activates integrin‐mediated matrix‐degradation. This self‐amplifying cycle drives gout‐related cartilage erosion. Disrupting fibrinogen deposition or restoring the cartilage barrier could interrupt this vicious cycle.

A Novel Nano Magnetic Beads Dot ELISA Immunoassay and Its Application on the Detection of Giardia lamblia Coproantigen

open access: yesIranian Journal of Parasitology, 2018
Background: The traditional basis of diagnosis is identification of Giardia lamblia trophozoites or cysts in the stool of infected patients. Recently the advent of more objective techniques like antigen detection methods has led to an increase in their ...

A Pancreatitis‐Inspired Trypsinogen Nanoplatform Reprograms Tumor‐Associated Macrophages via NF‐κB for Pancreatic Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Trypsinogen‐loaded nanoparticles reprogram TAMs via NF‐κB/NLRP3, driving M2→M1 conversion and potent phagocytosis to unleash antitumor immunity. ABSTRACT Although reprogramming tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs) represents a promising therapeutic strategy, approaches that are both precise and safe remain scarce.

Mucoadhesive Peptide‐Catalase Self‐Assembled Nano‐Formulation for Effective Treatment of Mucosal Inflammatory Diseases

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CR8L10 is self‐assembled with catalase (CAT) to form CR8L10@CAT nanocomplexes, which can anchor to mucosal surfaces via thiol‐disulfide exchange with mucin, thereby enhancing their mucosal retention. The efficient reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging at inflamed sites would then result in successful treatment in both the intravesical IC/BPS model ...

Dot-ELISA for detection of Salmonella enterotoxin.

open access: yesThe Indian journal of medical research, 1999
Nineteen strains of Salmonella enterica belonging to seven serovars and two strains of S. bongori were investigated for enterotoxin production by the Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell assay and Dot-ELISA. All the 19 strains were found to carry stn gene when tested by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using specific primers for stn sequence.

Gene Correction Enhances Dopaminergic Cell Therapy in a Nonhuman Primate Model of Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
LRRK2‐mutant induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) were derived from a patient with Parkinson's disease (PD). Using CRISPR/Cas9–mediated gene editing, the pathogenic LRRK2 mutations were precisely corrected, and isogenic dopaminergic neural progenitor cells (DA‐NPCs) were subsequently generated.

A simple reflectance microphotometer for dot immunobinding assay (dot-ELISA) quantification.

open access: yesBrazilian journal of medical and biological research = Revista brasileira de pesquisas medicas e biologica, 1992
The use of a simple reflectance microphotometer adapted to quantify enzymatic dot immunobinding assays is described. The instrument is versatile and precise by clinical laboratory standards (i.e., 1.1% coefficient of variation for ten consecutive readings of a grey cardboard).
