Parameter identification of a double barrier memristive device

2017 IEEE 60th International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS), 2017
Memristive systems are nonlinear resistors with memory. Most of them are realized as resistive switching devices in nanotechnology. One example, with appropriate properties especially in neuromorphic applications, is the double barrier memristive device (DBMD).

Double Barriers, Double Burdens: Women’s Employment

1991
Abstract The stereotype of the bourgeois “lady” and the idle hohere Tochter notwithstanding, Jewish women worked in a variety of ways, and often without remuneration. A significant minority of them-about 18 percent in 1907-worked outside the home and appeared in the censuses. Others who ran the family shop, delivered g ods, kept records,

Double Barrier Transmission Characteristics

Journal of Applied Physics, 1965
A general expression for the time-independent transmission coefficient of a double barrier is derived. Unity double barrier transmission is found possible for all energy levels above or below the double barrier potential energy levels. The conditions under which unity transmission occurs are obtained and discussed.

Negative charged excitons in double barrier diodes

Microelectronics Journal, 2005
Abstract We have studied the effects of excitonic complexes formation, such as excitons and trions, on the optical and on transport properties of GaAs–GaAlAs n–i–n double barrier diodes, by measuring the current–voltage characteristics and the photoluminescence emission, as function of bias.

Breaking the Double Barrier of Poverty

2017
Instead of prescribing higher education as the silver-bullet solution to poverty, we must provide diverse and contextualized pathways to disadvantaged children, enabling them to redefine the dominant narrative of success.

Double barrier quantal model of neurotransmitter release

NeuroReport, 1991
As an extension of the particle concept in the quantitative descriptive of an entire neurotransmitter population, which participates in quanta release from the terminal, an improved system of quantal postulates is suggested. An essential aspect of the corresponding double barrier quantal model is its nonstationarity, resulting from combined application
