Analysing time-fractional exotic options via efficient local meshless method
In this article, we analyse the numerical simulation of the time-fractional Black-Scholes model governing butterfly spread option, digital option and double barrier option.

Relativistic Double Barrier Problem with Three Transmission Resonance Regions
We obtain exact scattering solutions of the Dirac equation in 1 + 1 dimensions for a double square barrier vector potential. The potential bottom between the two barriers is chosen to be higher than 2mc2, whereas the top of the barriers is at least 2mc2 ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Intermediate Structures in Fission and Consequences on Average Partial Cross Sections
This paper is willing to illustrate and quantify the impact of a double fission barrier in terms of average fission cross section and in particular, to status on both the additional class-II width correction factor and the degree of freedom of the ...

Conductance fluctuations in a disordered double-barrier junction
We consider the effect of disorder on coherent tunneling through two barriers in series, in the regime of overlapping transmission resonances. We present analytical calculations (using random-matrix theory) and numerical simulations (on a lattice) to show that strong mode-mixing in the inter-barrier region induces mesoscopic fluctuations in the ...

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Transverse Scaling of Schottky Barrier Charge-Trapping Cells for Energy-Efficient Applications
This work numerically elucidates the effects of transverse scaling on Schottky barrier charge-trapping cells for energy-efficient applications. Together with the scaled gate structures and charge-trapping dielectrics, variations in bias conditions on ...

The valuation of barrier options under a threshold rough Heston model
In this paper, we propose a novel model for pricing double barrier options, where the asset price is modeled as a threshold geometric Brownian motion time changed by an integrated activity rate process, which is driven by the convolution of a fractional ...
