Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

Double impulse effects in ion-molecule collisions at hyperthemal energies
The possibility of double impulse phenomenon in a single collision event is studied by the hard-shell model. Such an effect would be observed if the projectile is as heavy as target and the interaction potential has a strong anisotropy.

From a database of 170 pentagonal 2D materials, 4 candidates exhibiting altermagnetic ordering are screened. Furthermore, the spin‐splitting and unconventional boundary states in the pentagonal 2D altermagnetic monolayer MnS2 are investigated. A MnS2‐based altermagnetic tunneling junction is designed and, through ab initio quantum transport simulations,

Period-doubling route to chaos in driven impulsive systems
In the present study, we investigate the dynamics of impulsive differential equations driven by a chaotic system. We rigorously prove that, likewise the drive, the response impulsive system is also chaotic. Our results are based on the presence of sensitivity and infinitely many unstable periodic motions.

Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

Advance Impulse Noise Filtering using Double Threshold with Edge Preservation
Impulse noise detection and removal is very important process in image processing. Here random valued impulse noise (RVIN) is considered because it does not affect the gray values of image pixels uniformly. This paper have proposed an recursive double median median filter based noise removal method using double threshold which filter the impulse noise ...

A combinatorial library of dual‐functional antiviral oligomers incorporating N‐halamine and quaternary ammonium functionalities is developed for long‐lasting antiviral activity. The lead materials exhibit rapid and durable antiviral activity against SARS‐CoV‐2 variants and influenza H1N1, with 4 to 5 log reduction in viral copies at 5 mg mL−1 ...
