Effect of laser on double-arc physical characteristics in pulsed laser-induced double-TIG welding [PDF]
Abstract In order to improve the energy utilization efficiency of double-TIG arc, based on the synchronous induction of pulsed laser to double-arc, the coupling-enhanced discharge phenomenon between double-arc is studied in this paper. The energy utilization efficiency of pulsed laser induced double-arc is quantitatively analyzed.

The processes of formation of oxidized nanopowders depending on the number of pulses were studied when double laser pulses with an energy of 52 mJ and an interpulse interval of 10 microseconds were applied to an aluminum target placed in a closed ...

Characteristics of the pumping pulse and the output laser pulse for a Cu/CuCl double pulse laser [PDF]
Characteristics of the pumping discharge pulse and laser pulse in a Cu/CuCl double pulse laser have been measured as a function of time delay, buffer gas pressure, and tube temperature. We have found that for otherwise fixed discharge conditions, pumping rates decrease as these quantities are increased.

Picosecond pulses with 40 W peak power from a passively mode‐locked tapered quantum well laser
In this letter, the authors present a monolithic edge emitting diode laser intended as a potential key component for the generation of terahertz radiation in a compact time‐domain spectroscopy system.

Increased energy of THz waves from a cluster plasma by optimizing laser pulse duration
We have investigated the generation of terahertz (THz) waves from an argon cluster plasma produced by laser pulses of various durations. THz energy depends on laser pulse duration and reaches a peak at a pulse duration of ∼250 fs.
