The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, 2021 Abstract In order to improve the energy utilization efficiency of double-TIG arc, based on the synchronous induction of pulsed laser to double-arc, the coupling-enhanced discharge phenomenon between double-arc is studied in this paper. The energy utilization efficiency of pulsed laser induced double-arc is quantitatively analyzed.

Characteristics of the pumping pulse and the output laser pulse for a Cu/CuCl double pulse laser [PDF]
IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, 1980 Characteristics of the pumping discharge pulse and laser pulse in a Cu/CuCl double pulse laser have been measured as a function of time delay, buffer gas pressure, and tube temperature. We have found that for otherwise fixed discharge conditions, pumping rates decrease as these quantities are increased.

AIP Advances, 2019 We have investigated the generation of terahertz (THz) waves from an argon cluster plasma produced by laser pulses of various durations. THz energy depends on laser pulse duration and reaches a peak at a pulse duration of ∼250 fs.
