Latched Detection of Excited States in an Isolated Double Quantum Dot

open access: yes, 2004
Pulsed electrostatic gating combined with capacitive charge sensing is used to perform excited state spectroscopy of an electrically isolated double-quantum-dot system.

A small RNA response at DNA ends in Drosophila [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Small RNAs have been implicated in numerous cellular processes, including effects on chromatin structure and the repression of transposons. We describe the generation of a small RNA response at DNA ends in Drosophila that is analogous to the recently ...

Divergent Double Sequences and Series [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1926
provided in the latter case yn has a meaning. If to any matrix of type T we adjoin the elements an,k= =0, k > n (all n), we obtain a matrix of type S. Since this addition does not affect the transformation, any transformation of the type T may be considered as a special case of a transformation of type S. If for either transformation liMn--,oyn exists,

Effective Hamiltonian for two interacting double-dot exchange-only qubits and their controlled-NOT operations

open access: yes, 2014
Double-dot exchange-only qubit represents a promising compromise between high speed and simple fabrication in solid-state implementations. A couple of interacting double-dot exchange-only qubits, each composed by three electrons distributed in a double ...

Almost Linear Complexity Methods for Delay-Doppler Channel Estimation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A fundamental task in wireless communication is channel estimation: Compute the channel parameters a signal undergoes while traveling from a transmitter to a receiver.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

A permutation code preserving a double Eulerian bistatistic

open access: yes, 2016
Visontai conjectured in 2013 that the joint distribution of ascent and distinct nonzero value numbers on the set of subexcedant sequences is the same as that of descent and inverse descent numbers on the set of permutations.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Lacunary Statistical Convergence for Double Sequences on $\mathscr{L}-$ Fuzzy Normed Space

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Sciences and Modelling, 2023
On $\mathscr{L}-$ fuzzy normed spaces, which is the generalization of fuzzy spaces, the notion of lacunary statistical convergence for double sequences which is a generalization of statistical convergence, are studied and developed in this paper.
